Lily's Unicorn Fairy Door

Hush! A baby unicorn is dozing close by! Look! So beautiful, so gentle. The gold freckles are kisses from the sun.
This fairy door was made for my dear friend Lily, an awesome best friend and a gal who loves horses (and unicorns.) I have been wanting to make her a special door for two years now, and I finally managed one that was something like what I kept picturing in my head. I had so much fun making this door!
Definitely my favorite so far.
This little polymer clay fairy door measures approximately 4.5 inches wide by 4 inches tall. It has a wire run across the back so that it can be hung or places on a bookshelf, window ledge, or other flat surface. It is weather-resistant, making a good garden or flower pot decoration, but it is also ideal for the indoors.
The milk glass stone set in the door is wrapped with an interesting gold spiral (acrylic paint on clay,) the roses are four shades, ranging from a warm pink to a very soft, almost white shade of pink. There are a few tiny brown mushrooms on the right side to help balance the gigantic (2-ish inch) unicorn on the other side.
No, I am never making another like this (It took FOREVER) but I will attempt another unicorn if someone is interested, and willing to pay a tiny bit more for the time it takes.
